This is a selection from multiple trips over four years during the winter months of
January, February and March with Jim Abernethy's Scuba Adventures, Riviera
Beach. Florida, on board the MV Shear Water. Jim runs the best "big animal"
encounters bar none. There is no one else who will safely get you so up close and
personal with big Tiger and Great Hammerhead sharks, not to mention the Reefs,
Bulls and Lemons. Although not for everyone (and with rough sea conditions that can
be challenging during the winter), every voyage with Jim and his crew has been a
memorable experience.
